1. The Marching Band has a double parade day on Saturday (6/20), first stop is in Brooklyn Park and then Waconia. We only have a few people signed up to charpone both parades so if you could help out with just one or both parade(s) that would be great. You could drive separate and meet the Band at which ever location works best for you, and I will get you the "where" to meet the Band later this week. So if you can help out please reply back to me or go to http://hutchmusicboosters.weebly.com/ and click on the "Volunteer SignUP" button and sign up on the 20th, it would be appreciated. In either case please add in the comments or email body which parade you can help out with.
Brooklyn Park - 10:00 am to 12-ish (the ending time depends on where we fall in the parade line up)
Waconia - 4:00pm to 8-ish (the ending time depends on where we fall in the parade line up)
2. Lots of opportunities at the Water Carnival Parade on Sunday (6/21). The Music Department has teamed up with the parade committee to try and shorten the parade by creating performance zones to keep the parade flowing.
- The Music Boosters will be helping by making sure the visiting bands are in the right place at the right time and offer help if needed, more or less an air traffic controller. So we will need some volunteers to charpone the visiting bands and if you want you can charpone more than one band, we can make that happen....
- The Music Boosters will also be selling a package concession (hotdog, bottle of water, bag of chips) before and during the Band awards ceremony. So we will need some volunteers to manage the concession stand on the football field.
- We will also need some people to walk with the Marching Tigers during the parade and hydrate/take care of the team.
So if you can help out please reply back to me or go to http://hutchmusicboosters.weebly.com/ and click on the "Volunteer SignUP" button and sign up on the 21th. In either case please add in the comments or email where you can help out with.
The Water Carnival opportunity is a whole (Band and Choir) Booster effort, the more people we have the less juggling of people and the greater chance of success.
Thanks
